Description

A large-scale urban lighting project developed for Mexico's Independence Day celebrations in Querétaro.

Combining research into Otomí traditions with urban analysis, the project brought cultural heritage into the city's public spaces through monumental illuminated dolls, decorative installations and architectural video mapping.

Working within tight budget and material constraints, I helped define the visual interventions, selected decorative elements and developed creative solutions to maximise their impact using available resources.

My work also included character design inspired by traditional Lele dolls, contributions to video mapping for some of Querétaro's most emblematic buildings, and video production documenting the project.
